I am a dual (board) certified Nurse Practitioner in the fields of Adult and Geriatric Acute Care (AGACNP-BC) and Psychiatric / Mental Health (PMHNP-BC). I have 7 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner ranging from inpatient hospitalist care, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care, adult and juvenile corrections (medical and mental health), substance abuse treatment, and Veteran's health. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Creighton University in Omaha, NE, as a Registered Nurse I worked in the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit. I received my Masters of Science in Nursing at Creighton University in Omaha, NE in 2017 and my Post Graduate Certificate in Primary Mental Health from Creighton University in 2020. My focus is on the treatment of depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma (PTSD), adult and youth Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), substance abuse and chronic mental illness. Through psychiatric assessment, medication management and brief psychotherapeutic intervention, I believe in creating an individualized plan of care that values client involvement, interprofessional collaboration and evidenced-based practice. My goal for my clients is to feel empowered to treat their illness through supportive education in a stigma free environment. A client can expect their initial visit to include a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, determination of treatment goals and education about diagnosis and available treatment options.
